Ski Program through
Crystal Mountain

Crystal Mountain ski program registration is OPEN NOW!

Who:  Participants ages 7-18 years are welcome to sign up.

            Students must be 7 years old by January 1, 2025 to participate

          *Parents are invited to participate in the program with their children                             as Chaperones.          

          *Special rates are offered to parents or guardians of students who are                         registered in the program. Please contact the MRA office if you're                              interested in becoming a Chaperone!

What: The school program season pass gives the student access to lessons along with skiing/riding on one scheduled night per week. 

The student will be issued a permanent program RFID pass with their name, and schedule night of use printed on it. 

Single trip passes are also available for a single night use, please contact the MRA for more details on this. 

MRA Program Dates: January 7 - February 25, 2024 on Tuesday evenings.

All registration paperwork must be turned into the MRA and completed by Nov. 19th, 2024

        *Assessment day will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 (1:00, 2:00 or 3:00). 

        *Rental Fitting Week: December 14th & 15th, 2024  (9am-4:30pm).

         Participants should  try to be fitted for their rental equipment before the                   holidays if possible.

Lesson Times: 4:30pm, 5:30pm or 6:30pm

Important: All participants must have both signed Online RELEASE of LIABILITY forms on file before passes will be issued. Participants renting equipment for the season must also have a signed CONTINUING RENTAL form on file before equipment will be issued. All participants using Crystal Mountain equipment will also be issued a helmet. Forms must be returned to your group's advisor prior to your visit to Crystal Mountain. Please make checks payable to Crystal MountainLoss Pass fee of $25.

Pre-Ski: Novice - No Sticker (may be Pink in some cases)

Students at this level demonstrate knowledge of a controlled wedge, stop, and can demonstrate turns. These students are allowed at Totem Park only on the carpets.

Level 4: Advanced - Black Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled, linked, open parallel turns and stops on black runs (steep pitch, expert runs). These skiers are usually skiers who have been involved with the program in the past and must test into this level if they are returning for the season.

Level 2: Advanced Beginner - Green Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled stops and turn in both directions on a green run (less pitch). Students are allowed to use the Loki and Crystal Clipper lifts. They may ski on green runs.

Level 3: Intermediate - Blue Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled, linked, beginning parallel turns and stops on blue runs (medium pitch). Students are allowed to use all lifts and they may ski on green and blue runs. These skiers are usually skiers who have been involved with the program in the past and must test into this level if they are returning for the season.
