Ski Program through
Crystal Mountain

Crystal Mountain ski program registration is CLOSED!

Who:  Participants ages 7-18 years are welcome to sign up.

            Students must be 7 years old by January 1, 2023 to participate

          *Parents are invited to participate in the program with their children                             as Chaperones.          

          *Special rates are offered to parents or guardians of students who are                         registered in the program. Please contact the MRA office if you're                             interested in becoming a Chaperone!

What: The school program season pass gives the student access to lessons along with skiing/riding on one scheduled night per week. 

The student will be issued a permanent program RFID pass with their name, and schedule night of use printed on it. 

Single trip passes are also available for a single night use, please contact the MRA for more details on this. 

MRA Program Dates: January 10-February 23, 2023 on Tuesday evenings.

        *Assessment week will be January 5th to place in a lesson.

        *Participants should try to be fitted for their rental equipment before                           the holidays if possible.

Lesson Times: January 4:30p, 5:30p, 6:30p

                           February 4:30p, 5:30p

Parents are required to fill out all necessary paperwork before the student's pass will be issued at the start of the first lessons. 

Participants are responsible for their own transportation.

If you have a card from the past you will not have to pay this fee.
There is a $25 fee to replace a lost card.

Pre-Ski: Novice - No Sticker (may be Pink in some cases)

Students at this level demonstrate knowledge of a controlled wedge, stop, and can demonstrate turns. These students are allowed at Totem Park only on the carpets.

Level 4: Advanced - Black Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled, linked, open parallel turns and stops on black runs (steep pitch, expert runs). These skiers are usually skiers who have been involved with the program in the past and must test into this level if they are returning for the season. 

Level 2: Advanced Beginner - Green Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled stops and turn in both directions on a green run (less pitch). Students are allowed to use the Loki and Crystal Clipper lifts. They may ski on green runs.

Level 3: Intermediate - Blue Sticker

Students at this level demonstrate controlled, linked, beginning parallel turns and stops on blue runs (medium pitch). Students are allowed to use all lifts and they may ski on green and blue runs. These skiers are usually skiers who have been involved with the program in the past and must test into this level if they are returning for the season.
